OF 1.0.5 is, but newer versions are supposed to allow different resolutions.

It's at least annoying and shows that Apple saw OF mainly as a debugging ai=
d in early PCI Macs, not as something the user would ever see.

New World Macs are less of a pain, at least on firmware level. Mainly becau=
se Apple finally uses OF to boot, instead of AAPL,ROM.
And of course they can use faster CPUs.
