I just installed hfsutils on an i386, plugged a mac disk in it, and

# ./hmount /dev/wd1a /mnt
/dev/wd1a: contains 1 HFS partition
./hmount: /dev/wd1a: not a Macintosh HFS volume (Invalid argument)

Just wondering: should this be doable, is there an endianness problem, or
is the disk no good? (NetBSD-2.99.16/i386)

Cheers,

Patrick
(Just seems odd, as it sees the partition, but I don't know anything
about HFS.. - just spotted the FreeBSD built-in hfs but it seems to
depend on "geom-apple" - I wonder what that does..)
