Sure, any computer with a suitable serial port ( needs to be capable to 
do 38400kBit/s because that's what OF defaults to ) running some kind 
of terminal emulation (minicom for instance) will do. You'll probably 
need an adaptor for the Mac's DIN-8 ports.
