Damn, I thought we got rid of this :/
But maybe it's something else...
I guess everything trying to access the disk gets stuck too, until the 
whole thing hangs?
There are several things which can cause this:
- - there's a bug in the mesh chip which can cause it to lock up, the 
driver tries to avoid this though
- - bad cable
- - weird SCSI device(s) - although that's not too likely
- - probably other things.
Can you reproduce the problem or is it totally random? How often does 
it occur?

Not really. Try a -current kernel, there's been a lot of work in the 
mesh driver and the interrupt handling, the situation should at least 
be better.
