Hi,

I tried the workaround you suggested. However, I'm unable to enter the
kernel debugger with the installation kernels. Here's what I've done:
1) a custom netbsd 1.6 kernel in / on the hard disk
2) the netbsd 1.6 installation image on /
3) the netbsd 2.0 installation image on /

at the openfirmware prompt, if i type "boot netbsd -d" I'm able to
immediately enter the kernel debugger. However, if I type either "boot
netbsd-1.6 -d" or "boot netbsd-2.0 -d", the respective installation
kernels boot without entering the kernel debugger. Is there something I'm
missing?
