So there's nothing wrong with the cpu_subr.c patch to not probe 604ev? The
cache issue is separate. Are you trying to boot with the bootloader I added
the L2 code to? If so, don't forget the -l flag before the kernel name.

boot scsi-int/@6:1,\ofwboot -l netbsd

By default it does not attempt to enable the cache.
