is that the button to the left of the CPU slot?  did that, didn't make a
difference, OF still doesn't see the Radeon (although NetBSD does)

ps: while i was in there i pulled the CPU card and looked at it.  it is
now verified as being a 512K L2 Cache module.  ah ha!
