I saw some I2O code in the NetBSD kernel - mainly to talk to real time clocks, maybe I can recycle some of this code. The SAA7110 seens to have a hard-wired bus address ( well, you can choose between 2 addresses by pulling some pin low or leaving it alone, I think that still qualifies as hard-wired )
So - can I assume that a specific I2O device on a video board will always have the same address or is this just a (mis)feature of the SAA7110?
