Alas, I agree. However, we can only change ourselves, and there is
evidence that many bugs are not recognized and patches have been
uncommitted for some time, leading to users leaving for more stable
grounds...

I would like to make clear that I do recognize that several of the
commits I referenced were by you, but that as far as seniority and
contributed code, it seemed to me that Bill Studenmund was the next
obvious choice after Matt Thomas.
