Well, lots of PCish graphics cards don't work because the drivers rely 
in XFree86's vgahw module which needs to be hacked to work on 
NetBSD/macppc - I think it needs to be forced to memory-mapped IO, last 
time I checked it tried to use x86ish IO which can't work on a PowerPC. 
I'll have another look at it when I'm done with the E100 ( learned 
quite a bit while hacking it )
