I can't get XFree86 4.4.0 to work on a Revision A iMac.

Here's the Devices section of my XF86Config

Section "Device"
# Chipset	"XXX"
    Identifier	"device0"
    Driver	"ati"
    BusID	"PCI:0:18:0"
# Option	"noaccel"
EndSection

Here's an excerpt from /var/log/XFree86.0.log

I get the same error if I boot in single-user mode, and 'sysctl -n
kern.securelevel' shows -1, and then I try XFree86.

Xmacppc works, but it doesn't survive detaching and reattaching the
USB keyboard. and of course it is only 8bpp. so i'm trying to use
XFree86.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

Does anyone have a magic XF86Config for this machine, a Revision A
iMac?

thanks.
