Hello,

I have serious problems on my 9600 which make it quite unusable.

I cannot FTP or telnet to the box. Freshly booted I get a high packet
loss with ping, but for some time I can telnet in and try to transfer an
FTP file, but after a few seconds transfer drops to zero, interrupting
makes telnet unusable too.

I am NOT using the internal ethernet (which behaves the same) and I have
no disks attached to the external SCSI port.

I have the suspect that the problem is not ethernet, but the internal
SCSI. (Strangte, since almost the same setup worked on my 9500 and the
disk is the same...).

Untarring a file even with a high nice makes the system extremely
unresponsive and then network gets unusable (like telenet or so).

Even with no network use, while untarring a larger file, I get those
messages on console:

mesh0: timeout state 3
mesh: resetting DMA

and so over again and again....
