I haven't been running -current on my macppc lately, but quite a while
ago there was a problem I never finished tracking down that appeared
under the GDB test suite that made it look like an icache invalidation
wasn't happening somewhere. It was sufficently timing-sensitive that
other changes could have made it resurface.
