For i386, there is a native Java build. For other ports, binary
compatibility is the only solution.

On powerpc, you can use Linux's JVM, you get it through pkgsrc. MacOS
X's JVM might work too, with COMPAT_DARWIN, but nobody dared to test
that. :)
