I had this happen from a panic and the same thing happened to
me, where I can read but not write the the UFS filesystem under
mac osx. Part of my problem may be that I am using an older NetBSD
install, perhaps 6-8 months old -current, and have not updated to a
new -current, which may have fixed the fsck problem. I can say that
using
a new fsck from a month or so ago didn't restore writeability to my
partition
under macos. (As I recall, there was a weird problem with fsck etc. that
caused some overwrite of a superblock or something, but that is just
recollection, and may be a brain fart.
