Sorry, forgot to answer this bit.

OF3 boxes usually don't use bootxx/ofwboot. bootxx is used as part of the=
=20
"partition zero" boot method, where we are faking the OS into thinking our=
=20
loader is a "driver partition." For some reason, OF3 doesn't like how we=20
build the driver partition entries (or it didn't last time I tried).

It could be that we were messing up cache initialization... That was the=20
problem with OF 2.4 systems for far too long. :-)
