I had, on a whim, removed the 256MB /, 1G swap and 4.6G /usr partitions with
pdisk and replaced it with a 5GB / and a 1G swap.  sysinst seems to have an
easier time (it at least got past the part about not being able to mount
/dev/wd0g) and I was able to get to the point of re-installing the sets.
I'm in progress with that now so we'll see how it goes.
