Hello,

I finally managed to install the latest snapshot ( 1.6Z from 9/9 ) on my Pulsar ( basically a 9500 with some changes, has OF 1.0.5 ) and now I have the following problem: after each boot I have to reinstall bootxx - something seems to hose it while booting. If I don't reinstall it I get 'unrecognized Client Program formatstate not valid'. This is quite annoying and the mailing list archives don't seem to have any information about this. So I usually boot the install kernel from a ZIP, do an <installboot /dev/rsd0a /usr/mdec/bootxx ofwboot> and then boot with <boot scsi-int/sd@0:0 netbsd> which is good for exactly ine boot. Installing the boot block from the running system doesn't help.

thanks in advance
Michael
