Hello all,

I've a working NetBSD on a 7500 with a G3 Update...
I even have compiled a kernel myself to put that cache on...
It works but somehow I've got the feeling that the system is more unstable
now...

NetBSD itself crashed only one time(some assertion failed), but GCC fails
often with a segfault.
It could be my RAM too, is there some tool for NetBSD to check it?

Its a Sonnet Crescendo G3 400 Mhz upon a 7500!!!
My current NetBSD option is
L2CR_CONFIG="(L2SIZ_512K|L2CLK_20|L2RAM_PIPELINE_BURST)"

There's another problem I have:
I set up network using DHCP...

ping www.netbsd.org works
but ftp.netbsd.org doesn't

but If I am using the IP address of ftp.netbsd.org it works too
and I can download everything flawlessly

what have I done wrong?
Any suggestions?

PS:

Has anyone succesfully used MC (Midnight Commander) and was able to use the
function keys?
Why do they not work?

And has anybody a XFree86 4.3.0 build lying around?
While compiling it seems there a lot of things to fix...
I would like to look at it... But I thing my machine should work
first reliable...

And which files should I use to get XFree compiled there seems to be some
duplicated stuff...

Wow thats a lot of stuff to answer :-)
