The problem is indeed that the driver for the GMAC ethernet isn't
compiled into INSTALL. I'm not quite sure what the story is.. the gm
driver was added and then removed again from INSTALL in June 2000, and
added back in the 1.5 release branch. I'm not sure why it was ever
removed... space reasons for a floppy, on the assumption that modern
Macs don't have floppies (and would be using some kernel other than
INSTALL?)?
