[in reference to kernel trap] maybe some sort of bug report is in order.
My tlp0 (a MX98715AEC) hard-locked on me.

Reading the tlp and mii man pages, I was wondering if I had so specify the
phy interface (since my dmesg told me my microwire was "broken")
Maybe you have to as well, but  thats just a hunch.
