Hi
I created a CD to serve as a HFS boot disk (containing ofwboot.xcf
and netbsd) to load netbsd kernel from installed NetBSD on a
entirely formated hardrive, which was formated by NetBSD sysinst.

MacOS X pdisk show me this list of partitions:
1 ApplePartitionMap
2 NetBSD disk

Under netbsd a partition is root, b partition is swap and g partition is
NETBSD partition

But I dont know what number of partition to type in OpenFirmware for
loading a kernel, when I type boot cd:,\ofwboot.xcf netbsd it boots
correctly but is not able to mount root partition cd0a (of course).
But when I type cd:,\ofwboot.xcf hd:9,\netbsd
then OF tells me that no partition of this name exists, nor file exists. I
tried numbers from 9 to 15 but without any succsess.

Oh, and if you are asking why I dont use HFS partition on HD,
solution is simple: it is Xserve and I cant format to A/UX with OS X
DiskUtility. I've tried to make 1 HFS partition and 3 UFS partitions then
change those partitions to 4.2BSD FFS with newfs and disklabel, and
it worked, but when I installed NetBSD (successfully), after try to boot
I've found an error on a last partition containg NetBSD and then,
kernel panic. After boot it showed this: Warning, last 360 cylinders on
partition wd0e are missing!

So, I've decided to use CD for bootloader and to use netbsd kernel
on a ffs partition, but I still cant find a correct partition number for that
kernel.

Sorry for grammar, I'm not native English speaker, hope U
understand! Thanks for a SOON reply, yesterday was too late :-)
