...the 1.6 bootable ISO loads fine, but the keyboard is dead afterwards.
i'm assuming it's the usual bios-doesn't-know-how-to-hand-off-to-kernel
issues but it's hard to tell, as this doesn't have a place to hook up a
legacy keyboard.  i suppose i can to setup netbooting and try a -current
snaphot from releng*, that's just such a pain sometimes
