Hi,
    I'm thinking about upgrading my B&W 350G3 to a 450G3 w/1gb of ram and a
raid of some sort (probably raid 5, U160) to make a file server that will
serve to around a max of about 100 clients. With the throughput that a raid
would provide, I was considering installing a D-Link DGE-550T into one of
the 64bit/33Mhz slots.(This in turn would go right into a cisco 2900
switch).

First and foremost, is there a better gigabit card for this machine/OS
combination?
How well is this card supported and will this card work in full duplex
mode on this machine?

If anyone has any experience with this card or a B&W G3 in this kind of
environment and can provide some pointers/
advice/comments/concerns on this strategy would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I would really like to see this machine kick some teeth out of the
compaq proliant 1600 that sits next to it :)
