On this basis you should be able to do:

boot ide0/disk@0,OFWBOOT.XCF;1 NETBSD.MACPPC;1

If that doesn't work then try inserting a ":0" or ":1" or ":2" in 
front of the comma (without the quotes).

Remember to "reset-all" between attempts, and double-check that the 
*-base settings didn't get clobbered.

If you can do the "dir" then you are really close because it means 
you know where the boot files live in Open Firmware terms.
