I think it's more of a OFW-related thing, so if Jaguar replaced
the ofwboot, then it's possible.  My 800MHz TiBook (which also runs
Jaguar) seems to work fine.  I have OFW version 4.3.7f3 built on
04/17/02 while Jason's 1GHz(?) has version 4.5.3f2 built on 10/25/02.
