It seems that there is an incompatibility somewhere in NetBSD 1.6 with
the PowerBook 2400. Because of the slow console, I recompiled several
custom kernels which enabled OFB_ENABLE_CACHE which all froze right
after displaying "cpu: ohare L2 cache enabled." I figured maybe I had
made a mistake in the kernel configuration so I eventually tried
recompiling a GENERIC kernel with only the addition of the
OFB_ENABLE_CACHE option. I am still getting the freeze right after
"cpu: ohare L2 cache enable."

I searched Google and perused some of the archives and I did not find
anything mentioning this except a question as to why this wasn't in
GENERIC. Any ideas what is going on? Do I need to post my dmesg? Thank
you for your help.
