You're right.  (I had to check; that's part of the reason for the delay.)
Though in hardware terms the modem has some other connections -- I had to
install a patch to wake it from APM sleep.

Am I the only person on the list with my configuration?  I would have thought
modem support would be OK by now.  You guys must all be rich enough to have
faster connections, or not have G4s.

I didn't find any Mac-specific bugs relating to ppp, so you had better give
me the PR numbers.  Perhaps they're not specific to the Mac port?
