I've successfully been using the PQI 5-in-1 TravelFlash USB card
reader/writer (handles CF/Microdrive, SmartMedia, and SD/MMC) on my
iBook (and other boxes) under NetBSD since sometime last year, and it
should work in vanilla 1.6.
