We would need to know what the problem you need help with is. Easiest 
solution to get it onto the iMac is to download an ISO image, burn 
it, and boot the machine with it as described in the install document.

What didn't work?
What do you need to know?
Do you plan to still use MacOS at all, or is the drive expendable?
