Sorry for confusing,

ttyb or ttya issue should be very specific to my particular
PM4400.  Input to my ttya may be broken by some hardware
damage. It won't type in with OF, but output is OK at OF. I
got this box as used machine (from the shop), and I think it
is just of this box only.

All other 4400 and StarMaxen will be OK with ttya.

But Tanzania machine now only runs with serial console.
That's should be true, either ttya or ttyb.
