Again thanks for all your replies.

But this seems to be a really weird problem, and I guess I have to
re-install MacOS apply the NVRAM patches and then re-install NetBSD.

Maybe you recall, I don't have a floppy and I have no idea how to put
SystemDisk on a bootable floppy without having a running MacOS system. If
you know how to do that, drop a note!

Here are the responses to the several boot commands some of you suggested.

   0 > boot ide0/@0:0,netbsd
       can't OPEN: ide0/@0:0

   0 > boot ata0/@0:0,netbsd
       can't OPEN: ata0/@0:0

   0 > boot /pci/mac-io/ata0/@0:0
       can't OPEN: /pci/mac-io/ata/@0:0

   0 > boot /pci/mac-io/ata0/disk@0:0
       can't OPEN: /pci/mac-io/ata/disk@0:0

   0 > boot /pci@80000000/mac-io@10/ata0@20000/disk@0:0
       can't OPEN: /pci@80000000/mac-io@10/ata0@20000/disk@0:0

This weekend I will get a MacOS CD and re-install the system *sigh*, and I
am going to keep you informed whether I succeed or run into more trouble.

Regards,
Konrad
