This looks very much like what I got trying the late '01 -current 
snapshot and 1.5.2 on a very new TiBook.  Main thing I can add is 
that with the -a option they would prompt for root filesystem, etc. 
before hanging.

I haven't had time to try RC2 or the '02 -current snapshot, and I 
probably won't for a month or two.  ;-(
