Hello all,

I have a recently purchased Beige G3 OF 2.4, 384meg memory, 8gig IDE, 2 gig
external scsi.

I've never gotten OF to boot OFWBOOT.XCF. The symptoms are CLAIM FAILED.

	I've experimented with load-base being 600000 and 640000 per the
recent posts.

	I have tried both a home-brew ISO CD as well as the release hybrid-ISO
		(my home-brew gets further. I get unknown format from hybrid.)

	I have also used suntar to copy boot.fs to the 2gig scsi drive and boot
	using the partition 0 boot loader. same thing.

	I have hooked up a serial console on ttya and repeated all of the
above.

	Finally, in desperation, I installed 1.5.2 on the 2 gig scsi drive
on the
	system I want to replace (an ancient StarMax) and recabled the drive
	to the Beige G3. Same thing.

Any other ideas from the list? I'll experiment with anything.
