Hi,

The background:

I'm running NetBSD 1.5.2 on my PowerMac 8600/300. I recently bought a
Promise Ultra100 TX2 ATA controller so I could hook up some ATA drives
to the system (not to boot from, just for some extra storage). I
discovered that there's no support for these in 1.5.2, so I tried the
1.5ZC snapshot that was just uploaded.

The problem:

When I boot the install kernel it hangs right after it finds the disk
I've got hooked up to the controller. Removing the disk makes it hang
just after it finds the controller.

Is anyone else using a Promise card on a NetBSD/macppc system? Does
anyone have any suggestions of how I could track this problem down?

I've attached a copy of the dmesg of the failed kernel, and one of it
under the older 1.5.2 kernel.
