Was there any resolution to this from a few months ago (November 2001)?
I have an ibook1..I guess that's what it is..300MHz Tangerine.
I can boot the kernel from the Openfirmware prompt but then it hangs at the 
prompt for terminal type.
It does have that print out like "usb-kbd-ihandle not found" and later it 
looks like it finds the adb keyboard..can I specify adb keyboard on the 
kernel command line?

I have an ibook2..500Mhz white..too but its dvd/cd-r is currently broken so 
I haven't tried on it.
