I've been faced with a strange bug recently. I'm running a 1.5ZC kernel
from last week on my Beige G3. I have root on nfs.

Whenever I first boot in the morning, or if I reboot after the system has
been up for a while, rc.order core dumps. The system does not come up in a
usable state in that case. Then getty complains that it can't find
/dev/tty00 or /dev/ttyE0, which should be there.

If I hit the power (or drop into ddb now that I can do it again) and
reboot, everything comes up fine.

Thoughts?

Take care,

Bill
