It's accessed with a paperclip like device in the little door.  There's 
also a reset "button."

You do need to have at least a small MacOS partition to hold 
ofwboot.xcf.  Having MacOS around is also useful in case your video mode 
gets lost.

The iMacs can't boot entire FFS partitions...  If I remember correctly, 
it can load bootloaders from HFS, HFS+, ISO9660 and FAT.  I'm not sure 
if that answers your question, but I don't know why you want to *write* 
ofwboot.xcf.

I have a Rev. D, and I just have to press the shift key a few times 
before logging in.  Using xdm will correct this, too.

I made a stupid little web page dealing with the iMac so that you don't 
have to netboot, cd boot ofwboot.xcf, etc.  It's 
http://snowball.mrs.org/imac_netbsd.  Hope you find it useful.
