Does someone have tried XFree86-4.2 with a non-US keyboard : i have a
french AZERTY one but i just can't get XF86 to use options such as :

Option     "XkbRules"	   "xfree86"
Option     "XkbModel"      "macintosh"
Option     "XkbLayout"     "fr"

Though i've tried several options;
XFree86 log keeps on argueing :

(==) Using config file: "/etc/XF86Config"
xf86OpenConsole
mapVidMem 90000000, 4000, fd = 5
mapVidMem 90000000, 4000, fd = 5
mapVidMem 90000000, 4000, fd = 5
mapVidMem 94000000, 800000, fd = 5
mapVidMem a0000, 10000, fd = 5
Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap

Looking in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/ didn't help much either..

I did try to compile XFree86 with the src from XFree86 ,from xsrc and
the binaries provided for macppc too but none work.

Did i miss something special ? a compile option ?

delicta qvis intelligit ;(
