Subject: NetBSD 1.5.3_ALPHA on PowerBook (FireWire) doesn't even start

Using ofwboot.xcf (version 1.2 from the NetBSD 1.5.2 release) I get the
spinny cursor, a cleared screen, then:
	console keyboard type: ADB
[ preserving 198076 bytes of netbsd ELF symbol table ]
then it hangs

With ofwboot.xcf (version 1.5) from the recent snapshot, I get the spinny
cursor, a cleared screen, then:
	console keyboard type: ADB
[ netbsd ELF symbol table not valid ]
[ no symbol table formats found ]
then it hangs

No copyright notice, no autoconf, nothing.

I'm giving up for tonight -- I haven't been able to use any kernel from
today's sources (-current or -netbsd-1-5) on my PowerBook (FireWire).
