you are looking for. I managed to compile _and_ run XF86 4.1 on/for my
tibook with these patches. As I remember you have to use a -current
system because they relay on /dev/pciN. ... and I had to compile
xkbcomp with '-O' instead of '-O2' optimization (otherwise it core
dumps).
