well :-) ...Sure ..I will do ...but if I look into the following
file: /sys/dev/pckbc/wskbdmap_mfii.c

there is a section
static const keysym_t pckbd_keydesc_de[] = { 

so it seems there is a keyboard description but it isnt used.

If you point me to the right file - I can make a german keymap
of course.

(Maybe I didnt get the point here - is this file only used on 
i386 ?)
