I have read, in the FAQ, that there is a patch for
optimizing the screen scrolling speed. But that
requires more work than I can and know how do right
now. Has anyone had any success with this patch?

I'm using Yellow Dog Linux 2.0, right now, which
*keeps* crashing and has corrupted my system. If it's
worth the time, I'll just have to stop everything and
learn to compile a netbsd kernel so I can work in
peace.
