The install notes say that the "D-link DFE-530TX (vr)" is supported.
I bought one for $15, and on boot it says:

D-Link Systems product 0x1300....function 0 not configured

I looked in the GENERIC config in the 1.5-release (a few weeks old) source
and there is no "vr" device that I see.

Does this ethernet card work on MacPPC?  If so, and the driver is
present, what do I have to add to build a kernel that supports it?

If not, then this should probably be changed in the docs.
