Yes, precisely.  That's because we use Open Firmware to set up
communication with the card (aside from the XF86 server, but there's still
the Open Firmware-based Xmacppc).

AFAIK, there aren't any video cards supported by MacOS that we don't support.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
