ok i got it to work by deinstalling and reinstalling it. then i did a
search for all old config files, deleted themfirst it came up with a
similar error, then i deleted the zone info from atalkd.conf and set up
the afpd.conf and AppleVolumes.system.... voila, works like a charm.
