Nearly the same here: I have a 4400 which shows similar symptoms. OF
2.0.3 does not know the ethernet card, so netbooting is out of the question
(I'm booting from CD, just wrote "boot.fs" via cdrecord). Network is not
realy working (I added another PCI tulip card).

I could not get XFree 4.* to recognize the graphics card and I was not able
to boot from hard disk (NetBSD only).
