|  AFAICT, no one tried yet to boot NetBSD/macppc with the
|  card.  So it's unknown if it works or not.

  It doesn't. The driver seems to be heavily inspired by i386
architecture, and even when you get it to compile, won't work.
At least, it doesn't for me. Trying the same card in a PC and
working out the differences has been on my to-do list for quite
some time, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
