  yet another request for help to get 16/24 bpp going - this time
on a beige G3. Here's the error I get in the log:

And the Screen section in the /etc/XF86Config is the same as the
example one in the URL above.. I just chnaged the BusID bit to
reflect my machine. (btw I get the same error if I let X probe
for the BusID, as in the above log)

trying it on my Wallstreet G3 as well gives this error. I'm
pretty sure I've had it runnong on that thing last year some time
:(
