	Yes, but a G4 400 would lay the _smack_ down on a G3 500 in
integer ops and probably everything else. On your system, I would say 1MB
Cache is a toss up, yes it'll improve performance and decrease some
latency, but I don't think it's worth the extra $$$, that's up to you
though.
